Morna Lincoln (BVM&S MRCVS) | Owner and Veterinary Surgeon
Morna qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 1991 and initially worked in mixed practice in the Highlands of Scotland then focused on small animal only when she moved to Congleton in 1998. Along with her husband and 3 children, Morna lived in Nepal for 5 years.
She started working at Newhall Veterinary Centre in 2019. Having taken ownership of the practice in January 2020, Morna then relocated it to larger premises in November 2021 and has continued to develop and expand the veterinary care we can provide.
Morna has an Abyssinian cat Javier, and 3 dogs, Pretzel, Mouse and Daisy.
Michelle, formerly a primary school teacher, changed career paths in 2020 and came to join us as Practice Manager in 2021. Michelle spends much of her spare time making music with several local groups.
She has a lovely rescue cat, Mia, who does not always appreciate her musical talents often making a swift exit when practice sessions commence.
Nicola joined us at Newhall Veterinary centre as a student in 1989 and then as a Registered Veterinary Nurse when she completed her training at Myerscough College in 1995. Nicola is our pet insurance guru.
She knows the ins and outs of our practice very well and has known and cared for lots of our animal clients for many years. Nicola has a beautiful rescue cat called Morris who rules the roost.
Zakkiyah Mirawalla (RVN) | Veterinary Nurse
Zakkiyah qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020 from Myerscough College and has been a welcome addition to our team since 2022. She is an integral part of our laser therapy clinic.
Zakkiyah shares a house with her 3 cats, Theo, Buzz and Bambi. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit at the gym and travelling.
Elaine first joined Newhall Veterinary Centre as a student and began working as a receptionist in 2018. Elaine is passionate about looking after the environment and caring for all animals great and small. She has 3 rescue cats; Nala, Hamish and Baxter and 2 rescue rabbits named Rodney and Coco.
Her garden is now home to frogs and hedgehogs since the addition of a wildlife pond and hedgehog house.
Christine has been the friendly, welcoming face behind reception here at Newhall Veterinary Centre most afternoons for over 20 years having worked with us since 2000.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking her 2 dogs Denis and Betty and horse riding.
Mina has worked as a receptionist at Newhall Veterinary Centre since 2022. Prior to this Mina worked in the NHS from 1985 before retiring as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 2021.
Recently Mina became a grandmother for the first time. She owns 3 dogs Layla and Lola (rehomed) and Bella, plus 2 cats Bobby (a rescue) and Beau. Mina loves spending time with family and friends, being outdoors in nature, as well as photography.
